RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Account Consulting and GENEX Sales Growth

  • Strategize with key region partners to determine herd assignments and priority herd and wholesale and retail visits.
  • Analyze and report on herd-level data to identify genetic and management trends, risks, and growth opportunities using the GENEX semen and product portfolio.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and on-farm case studies to uncover product advantages and implement best practices.
  • Provide value propositions and return on investment evaluations on-farm to introduce new products.

Sales & Channel Enablement

  • Collaborate with Global Sales, Business Development, global Sales Managers to support genetic and product adoption and sales growth.
  • Deliver consultative genetic, reproduction, and product education and implementation processes to distributors, key accounts, and on-farm stakeholders.
  • Develop tools and training programs to enhance sales team confidence and product knowledge.

Customer & Industry Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, allied industry partners, academia, and government stakeholders.
  • Represent GENEX in technical service roles, providing education and expertise on genetic and breeding strategies, reproductive consulting, and the GENEX product portfolio.
  • Enhance customer loyalty through retention-focused consulting and solutions delivery.

Operational Excellence & Safety

  • Partner with commercial teams to coordinate growth and globalization of the GENEX brand.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, training requirements, and workplace practices.
  • Accurately document account activities, establish follow-ups, and drive high levels of customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Dairy or Animal Science, Agribusiness, or related field required; advanced degree (Master's or DVM) preferred.

  • 5-10 years of experience in the dairy cattle industry, with strong technical knowledge of building genetic strategies and reproductive consulting.

  • Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams (commercial, marketing, and training).

  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market data, DairyComp, and data aggregation/cleaning.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.

  • Critical thinker, with high attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel preferred.

  • Willingness to travel up to 40-50% of the time.
