Your new role
- Telesales: Proactively generating sales leads from existing and dormant accounts while using market intelligence to seek new opportunities.
- Lead Generation: Making targeted outbound calls to create qualified leads for the External Sales Team or directly winning orders over the phone.
- Quotation Management: Raising and sending quotations to clients, followed by timely follow-ups to convert them into confirmed orders.
- Customer Retention: Contacting "off-hirers" and following up on hire contracts from the previous day to secure forward work.
- Invoicing: Processing sales administration and invoicing accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring all service level agreements are met.
- Financial Accuracy: Ensuring quotations account for all costs related to goods and services to meet profitability objectives.
- Communication Records: Maintaining correct authorization processes with customers for all supplies, including additional items not in the original quote.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Telesales
- Experience in Hire industry and similar contact centre type role
- Good communication skills
- Experience in dealing with variety of customers over the phone
- Self- motivated team player
- Able to deliver a high level of customer service/satisfaction
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent administration skills
- Good MS Office knowledge, i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent telephone manner
- Able to work calmly under pressure
- Resolve problems efficiently.
