Role Summary:
The Director of Color Wow Business Development will support US commercial expansion, strategic partnerships, and market development for Color Wow across priority channels. This role serves as a critical bridge between Brand Strategy, commercial partners, and corporate functions, ensuring disciplined execution, scalable growth, and brand consistency.
Following Color Wows acquisition by L'Oreal, this individual will play a central role in post-acquisition integration . Aligning Color Wows entrepreneurial brand DNA with LOreals global operating model, systems, governance, and performance standardswhile protecting the brands unique positioning and growth momentum.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop US go-to-market strategies for key retailers in partnership with VP of business development
Serve as an instrumental partner in the integration of Color Wow into LOreals Professional Products Division, acting as a liaison between Color Wow leadership and LOreal corporate and regional teams
Ensure that brand strategies are translated into seamless, omnichannel experiences across all retailers
Analyze the category and Identify, evaluate, and launch new initiatives
Drive commercial excellence across channels (professional, social, specialty retail, e-commerce, omnichannel), ensuring consistent execution at scale by coordinating go-to-market, animation plans, Marketing plans and calendars for perfect brand execution and maximization of key commercial moments across channels
Develop Hero Product Strategy, tracking performance across markets, channels and identifying opportunities
Embed LOreal best practices in forecasting, planning, governance, and performance management while preserving Color Wows speed, creativity, and entrepreneurial culture
Function as point of contact for key cross-functionals
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree required
10+ years of experience in general management, within beauty, consumer products, or professional brands
Proven track record of driving expansion and managing complex, multi-market organizations
Experience operating within a matrixed, multinational environment
Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to operate at both executive and executional levels
Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to lead through collaboration and ambiguity
High agility, resilience, and comfort with change
Willingness to travel 25%
