Vaco is hiring for a Territory Sales Manager opportunity in Denver CO. This is a direct hire position. Salary: 100-135,000/yr + Bonus Position Overview: The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, building strong customer relationships, and expanding market share within the assigned territory. This role involves managing distributor, retailer, and contractor accounts, promoting flooring products (hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, carpet, etc.), and providing technical knowledge to support customer needs. The ideal candidate will combine strong sales skills with in-depth industry expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve or exceed revenue and profitability targets. Manage and grow relationships with retailers, distributors, contractors, builders, architects, and designers in the assigned region. Conduct product presentations, training sessions, and demonstrations to promote flooring lines and educate customers on features and benefits. Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead follow-up . Monitor competitive activity, market trends, and customer needs, providing feedback to internal teams. Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional programs within established guidelines. Collaborate with marketing on territory-specific campaigns, events, and trade shows. Ensure timely and accurate sales forecasting, reporting, and CRM updates . Provide post-sale support, ensuring customer satisfaction and assisting with issue resolution. Maintain a thorough understanding of product specifications, installation requirements, and warranty policies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). 3-5+ years of territory sales experience in the flooring, building materials, or home improvement industry. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills. Knowledge of flooring products, installation practices, and market channels . Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and digital communication tools. Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently.
