WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for driving growth and expanding NASM market presence within a specific region. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with customers and partners, and executing strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives. The BDM will work closely with regional teams, contribute to market analysis, and implement effective business development strategies.
WHERE YOU’LL WORK
This position will work hybrid out of our Gilbert, AZ office.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Drive sales initiatives and develop proposals to secure new business and partnerships in Canada, Latin America (excluding Brazil), UK and APAC.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers and partners.
- Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals.
- With the guidance of VP International, identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and achieve regional sales targets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the region.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Collaborate with regional teams to align business development strategies with overall company objectives.
- Develop and execute regional business plans, including marketing and promotional activities.
- Track and report on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
- Analyze data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Quality Management, Compliance, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with experience in the assigned region in the Fitness and Wellness industry preferred
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of Fitness and Wellness regional market dynamics and industry trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
