Vice President of Sales
We are seeking a strategic and growth-driven Vice President of Sales to lead national sales efforts for a fast-scaling, private equity-backed public adjusting firm. This executive role will be responsible for building and managing a high-performance sales organization, developing new market strategies, and accelerating revenue growth across commercial and residential client segments.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in insurance related sales leadership, a track record of growing distributed teams, and a passion for leading with integrity in service-oriented industries. This is an opportunity to make a profound impact at an inflection point in the company's expansion.
Location: Flexible within the U.S.; regular travel required.
Sales Strategy and Operations Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy while owning company revenue targets and budget goals
Drive market penetration in existing markets to maximize market coverage and sales effectiveness
Lead strategic expansion initiatives to identify and enter new and tangential markets
Implement KPI-driven performance frameworks to increase team efficiency and accountability
Create streamlined sales processes and playbooks across core business and new acquisitions for consistent execution
Optimize revenue composition by introducing commercial sales to markets focused on residential sales and creating focus on higher quality revenue perils
Build and expand strategic referral channels to drive sustainable pipeline growth
Sales Team Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a high-performing sales team across all markets and foster a collaborative team culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing
Function as player-coach to actively grow talent through hands-on training, in-field coaching, and skill development programs
Recruit, hire, and onboard top sales professionals to scale team capabilities
Lead integration of acquired sales teams and institute best practices from larger organization
Marketing Responsibilities:
Serve as a visible and trusted executive in the marketplace
Work with the marketing team to optimize marketing-to-sales funnel pipeline conversion with high quality leads for both commercial and residential business
Build marketing metrics tracking including lead quality, conversion rates, and campaign ROI
Optimize uses of AI to improve lead quality and lead generation efficiency
Qualifications
10+ years of progressive sales experience, with 3+ years in a senior leadership role (VP or above).
Background in property restoration, insurance, real estate services, construction, or a related field preferred.
Demonstrated success in scaling national or multi-regional sales organizations.
Strong leadership and coaching capabilities with a bias for action and accountability.
Deep understanding of complex consultative sales cycles and partnership development.
Data-driven mindset with comfort in forecasting, planning, and performance analytics.
Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and commercial acumen.
