What You ll Do
As our Business Development Manager, you will take the lead on identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and developing strategic plans to grow our presence in the Cartersville and Northwest Georgia markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a sales strategy to acquire new clients in manufacturing, logistics, clerical, and light industrial sectors
Conduct in-person and virtual outreach to local businesses, including cold calls, drop-ins, and networking events
Build and maintain long-term client relationships through consistent communication and service follow-up
Collaborate with our recruiting team to ensure client satisfaction and successful placements
Track and report sales activity using our internal systems
Represent AtWork at local chambers, job fairs, and community events to expand brand awareness
What We re Looking For:
Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in staffing, HR services, or a related industry
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet goals
Familiarity with the local market and willingness to be active in the business community
Reliable transportation for local travel and client visits
Passion for helping people and building lasting partnerships
