Sr Business Development Manager - Federal Government

The Business Development Manager Federal Government is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic business development and account management, specifically targeting large Federal Defense Contractors and Alaskan Native Corporations. This role includes overseeing sales productivity functions such as process implementation, planning, reporting, program adherence, and achieving revenue and gross margin targets.

This is a national role. The ideal candidate may be located anywhere in the United States, preferably in VA, MD, SC, or AL
Key Responsibilities
+ Identify, develop, and cultivate new business opportunities to expand ADIs presence and market share within the Federal Government sector.
+ Promote ADI solutions to Federal end customers and manage opportunities through the channel.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, aligning sales strategies with business objectives.
+ Collaborate with ADI supplier partners to develop and execute a national go-to-market strategy.
+ Partner with the Strategic Sales team to maximize revenue opportunities and strengthen customer engagement.
+ Act as a point of escalation for critical customer issues, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
+ Serve as the subject matter expert on Federal Contracting for the national sales team.
+ Work cross-functionally with Legal, Operations, Finance, and Sales departments to support business initiatives.
+ Develop and implement procedures to maximize revenue and minimize risk.
+ Lead continuous improvement initiatives and drive change within a high-performing sales organization.
YOU MUST HAVE:
+ 5+ years of experience working with Federal Government agencies and Federal Contractors.
+ Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
+ Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
+ Valid drivers license and a satisfactory driving record.
+ Willingness to travel up to 50%.
