About the Role
The VP of Sales will own and drive all revenue-generating activities. This includes leading, coaching, and growing a dynamic sales team, developing new sales channels, optimizing key client relationships, and exploring cutting-edge strategies to drive growth.
You will also be a pivotal member of our executive team, shaping not only our sales strategy but also contributing broadly to the company's vision, leadership and execution.
We are seeking someone bold, strategic, entrepreneurial—and prepared to roll up their sleeves and get in the trenches working with the sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Sales Transformation: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing, consultative, tech-savvy sales team that accepts accountability to meet strong growth goals.
- Own Revenue Growth: Personally drive and support major sales initiatives, penetrate new markets, and consistently exceed 10% annual revenue growth.
- Strategic Account Management: Build lasting relationships with C-level decision-makers at key accounts, while ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Innovate Sales Strategy: Introduce and lead new approaches including digital prospecting, marketing automation, ABM (Account-Based Marketing), and social selling.
- Executive Leadership: Actively participate in executive leadership discussions regarding company strategy, challenges, and opportunities.
- Drive Sales Operations: Oversee CRM management, sales reporting, forecasting, pricing decisions, and account setups with discipline and accuracy.
- Marketing Oversight: Provide high-level direction to our marketing function, including website development, brand strategy, social media, and lead generation efforts.
What You Bring
- Proven Sales Leadership: 5+ years leading successful sales teams with increasing responsibility and a track record of consistently exceeding revenue goals.
- Industry Experience: Background in digital printing, marketing services, or business-to-business creative services strongly preferred.
- Sales Expertise: A master of relationship-driven, consultative sales who is also comfortable with newer digital selling methodologies.
- Tech-Savviness: Strong experience with CRM platforms and familiarity with marketing automation tools.
- Dynamic Energy: A builder's mindset, with the stamina and enthusiasm to lead change in a highly competitive, fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Exceptional Communication: Clear, persuasive communicator—both written and verbal—with strong executive presence.
- Travel: Willingness to travel approximately 10%-20% of the time to meet with salespeople, clients, prospects.
