Position Description:

The Internal Sales Manager will lead and direct a team which is responsible for providing case design, product information, illustration support, training, competition research, and proactive outreach to producers, agency managers, and field office staff.

Position Location:

  • This is a hybrid role working partially in-office and partially from home.

What you do:

  • Facilitates the achievement of annual sales goals for assigned products.
  • Creating, executing, and measuring effectiveness of plans for sales promotions and campaigns, product rollouts, follow-ups from company meetings and training events.
  • Applies management expertise to set direction and to resolve problems within own discipline by organizing efficient work flows.
  • Develops and monitors quality measurements including surveys, interviews and recorded call monitoring to ensure field contacts add value to our field and contribute to increased sales.
  • Researches industry trends regarding field training, sales support, and product marketing to ensure this team is providing impactful business development; take a lead role in training of new processes, procedures and products.
  • Provides professional development to team through formal training, work assignments, and mentoring.
  • Establishes strong relationships with field leaders including Field Advisory Council, task force members, and key study group leaders.
  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address operational challenges that may deter attainment of sales goals.
  • Builds structure within customer tracking system that allows effective measurement for campaigns and marketing programs.
  • Responsible for the strategic direction, development, hiring, and implementation of the core internal sales development team.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 4-7 years of wholesaling experience required; and 2-4 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Series 6,63 required; Series 26 preferred
  • State Life and Health License required
