Outside Sales RepresentativeLocation: Buffalo, NY or Erie, PA Compensation: $70,000–$85,000 Base + Commission

What You’ll DoAs an Outside Sales Representative, you’ll play a key role in growing our business by developing strong relationships, identifying customer needs, and delivering solutions. You'll be the face of SouthernCarlson in your territory, helping our customers get the tools and supplies they need to succeed.
Drive growth by managing a sales pipeline, meeting targets, and closing deals
Engage with customers through field visits, follow-ups, and cold calls
Become an expert in our products, services, and customer solutions
Own the customer experience — from first contact to post-sale follow-up
Proactively resolve issues , track deliveries, and manage accounts
Build local presence by walking into businesses, generating leads, and setting appointments
Create and present sales materials aligned with growth goals
Sales Experience : 1+ year in sales or business development, ideally in the construction industry
Industry Knowledge : Mechanically inclined with existing industry contacts or networks
Driven to Succeed : You thrive in a goal-oriented environment and are solutions-focused
Strong Communicator : Excellent verbal and written communication; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Relationship Builder : You connect easily with people and earn trust quickly
Organized and Detail-Oriented : You manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines without missing a beat
Physically Capable : Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Licensed Driver : You hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Education : Bachelor’s in Business or Marketing is a plus (not required)
