Company:

Eco-Adapt is an innovative start-up in the field of industrial IoT and energy efficiency, which joined the Schaeffler Group in 2023. We have developed 2 solutions (Hardware and Software) enabling:

  • Energy consumption monitoring for Industry 4.0,
  • Predictive maintenance of rotating machines to optimize the availability of industrial assets.

These solutions are easy to install, high-performing and allow for aggressive pricing. As a result, they can be deployed at scale and have very strong commercial potential. We sell them directly to industrial sites as well as through partners.

We are based in the heart of Paris (9th arrondissement), with a young team of around 30 people, and are looking to continue our development by finding our future "Infrastructure" Business Development Manager to help us achieve our growth ambitions with operators of geographically spread asset networks.

Mission:

The Infrastructure Business Development Manager mission is to develop large scale deployment contracts for our solutions, with Infrastructure Network Operators such as Water and Waste Water network Operators, DSO, Telecom tower network operators, Pipeline operators.

He/she will report directly and interact daily with the Industry Business Development Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Target and qualify companies to prospect,
  • Prospect by phone or email,
  • Present the Eco-Adapt offer to relevant decision-makers within these companies, highlighting the value of our solutions applied to remote asset monitoring and/or other specific issues encountered by these operators,
  • Define, sell and follow-up of Pilot Projects to demonstrate economic value,
  • Anticipate and answer RFQs,
  • Close scale deployment contracts and follow contract execution.

Vos qualifications

Required Profile:

  • French engineering degree from a Group A+/A. Dual training in engineering + management commerce is a nice to have,
  • A first experience in prospecting and creating commercial activity, and/or having demonstrated an exceptional level of achievement in a specialized subject (success in an individual sport at a high level...),
  • 2-8 years of experience,
  • Fluency in technical subjects and strong interest in technological products and Industry 4.0 topics,
  • Fluency in French and English. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

  • Understanding organizations: ability to identify decision-makers within both SMEs and large companies,
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: capable of convincing and gaining support,
  • Ability to understand client issues during discussions: highlight the added value and suitability of the solutions,
  • Technical enthusiasm to understand client issues,
  • Autonomy and ability to self-organize and manage a sales pipeline,
  • Performance culture: daring, enjoying challenges, rigorous in quantifying and tracking progress.
  • Knowledge in electrotechnics or in-depth knowledge of the sector is a plus.
