Job Description

Crystal of America, Inc., a family owned and managed international leader in the manufacture of high-quality stemware, barware and tabletop items, seeks an experienced On-Premise National Account Manager to join our team.

Candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with On-Premise National Accounts and Food Service Distributors. The right candidate must be productive, results-oriented, organized and a self-starter. Must be a Company spokesperson, with exceptional communication skills and a strong sales background.  This position reports directly to the VP of Sales and ownership.

As a National account manager, you should be organized and able to analyze performance metrics. We also expect you to have excellent negotiation skills and the ability to foster relationships with customers. Ultimately, you should be able to facilitate communication with customers and build long-term relationships to achieve business goals.

The job duties include, but are not limited to:

·        Maintaining existing accounts, relationships, and distribution

·        Prospecting for new business and opportunities within the Hospitality channel

·        Set and monitor sales targets for key distributor partners

·        Travel throughout the US

·        Ensure the successful achievement of the company’s sales goals across all its regions

·        Create and develop programs for national sales and ensure its timely implementation.

·        Network with key customers to identify and address specific needs

·        Develop and maintain relationships with customers to ensure long-term success

·        Keep current with demand and supply of company’s products/services, economic indicators, changing trends and its competitors

·        Act as the liaison between customers and distributors ensuring clients’ requirements are met

·        Ensure sales volume is at its maximum, maintaining product mix, and selling price

·        Negotiate contracts

·        Collect and analyze sales data and trends

·        Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings, according to company standards

·        Liaise with Sales and Marketing departments to set and implement strategies for new products

·        Stay current with internal and external developments and suggest new ways to increase sales



·        BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field

5-8 years relevant experience within the Food and Beverage Hospitality Industry

·        Basic wine knowledge is recommended

·        Proficient in the use of computer software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet/Email, etc., and in the use of modern communication tools.

·        Proven work experience as a National account manager in the food service & distribution channel

·        Exceptional negotiation skills

·        Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills

·        Possess effective presentation skills, with power point/keynote proficiency

·        Ability to work under pressure and still produce result

·        Ability to work independently, in a home office, when not travelling

·        Demonstrable experience in negotiating and meeting clients’ requirements

·        In-depth understanding of sales performance metrics

·        Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Excel

·        Excellent analytical and organizational skills

·        Strong communication skills

·        Ability to lead and motivate

·        Availability to travel as needed

·        Ability to build effective relationships, whether internally or externally

·        Ability to be proactive and plan effectively

·        Enthusiastic and passionate of the work

·        Must possess time management skills, with the ability to make timely decisions

·        Ability to build and maintain effective networks
