Each year thousands of band, orchestra and choir directors, along with 70,000 students, entrust WorldStrides OnStage to facilitate music tours to over 150 destinations worldwide.

 

Position Objectives

  • Achieve profitable sales growth by prospecting potential customers and growing existing business via telephone
    • Effectively communicate the OnStage Value Proposition
    • Recommend specific performing tour packages
    • Provide clear and accurate product and pricing information
  • Actively manage a significant prospect portfolio while maintaining accurate, up-to-date account records and documentation within the CRM
  • Participate in ongoing sales and product training to continue to improve salesmanship
  • Actively participate in supporting OnStage events

Job Qualifications

  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Excellent consultative sales skills, organizational skills, computer, and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships, establish trust and identify sales opportunities
  • Strong work ethic and attention to program details such as dates, inclusions and pricing
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure
  • Ability to extend time commitment during the peak fall and spring selling seasons
  • University or four-year college degree
  • Ability to work independently as well as function within a team
  • Music background is preferred, but not required
