Job Description

Our innovative technologies and proven expertise help manufacturers in the Americas to be more efficient, reliable and profitable.  We are currently searching for a dynamic, self-starter District/Account Manager to drive our Robotics Sales based in the greater Boston market and surrounding area.  Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Complete account management to include direct End User & Integrator Sales.Selling involves all applications areas, except for Paint and Arc Welding, that FANUC provides; both product sales and systems solution sales

  • Manage all activities within Integrator and End User accounts to meet or exceed yearly established targets in units, revenue, and gross profit.

  • Develop and implement strategic selling plans for accounts.Identify complex sales situations, and manage and direct company resources to “win” the business.

  • Responsible for growing the FAC Integrator family by adding/qualifying quality Integrators each year.

  • Responsible for management and orchestration of Headquarter Based Accounts within the District.Work closely with other FAC Sales folks for complete account/plant coverage.

  • Develop good relationships with key personnel at all levels of plant, engineering, management and ownership within accounts and establish FAC as a trusted sustaining resource.

  • For system solutions, initiate and establish direction and content of quotations by providing complete scope of work from customer.Provide pricing direction, and review quotation prior to submittal.Review proposals with customer for a clear and thorough understanding of the FAC content and competitive advantages, and negotiate to a successful sale maximizing FAC profitability.

  • Interface with FAC resources and customer on sold projects to assure complete understanding of deliverable.Participate in kickoff and status meetings as required to assure smooth project execution and complete customer satisfaction.Assist with POA pricing and quotations as required.

  • Solicit input and feedback from customers on product operation and new requirements to provide direction on product improvements and new products to increase FAC’s competitive advantages and market share.

  • Manage company assets through accurate monthly forecasts, pipeline orders, and support in the collection of overdue payments.

  • Act as main interface for customer to assist with issues such as robot delivery information, spare parts quotes/delivery, service issues, product issues, etc.

  • Organize, schedule and prepare product presentations/demonstrations for customers with support from engineering and/or marketing as required.

  • Attend and support district regional and larger national tradeshows as necessary.

     

    Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:

     

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (ideally Electrical or Mechanical), Business or relevant work experience.

  • A minimum of three years selling experience, preferably in robotics/capital equipment.

  • Technical competency in automation applications stemming from hands on engineering and plant experience.

  • Previously proven selling and negotiating skills

  • Excellent management skills to handle small through large accounts and to organize and plan for many simultaneous and complex issues

  • Working knowledge of robots and robotic applications

  • Knowledge and established contacts within specified District

  • Highly Competitive and driven for year after year growth
