Position Scope: This role is responsible for the strategic direction and tactical execution of Annuity, Life, Long Term Care, and Branch Office marketing, recruiting, value add creation, and marketing. This role will lead the marketing and recruiting teams by defining and implementing marketing initiatives that support increasing sales from existing and new distribution. This is both a strategic and a hands-on leadership role that includes coaching and managing the functions of recruiting and sales to increase sales results for all core carriers of AAAE, working effectively with producers, insurance carriers, and other key relationships and providing leadership and strategic direction for sales and marketing to accomplish AAAE objectives. Functions: ? Responsible for ongoing recruiting, sales, training development, and marketing initiatives. ? Ultimately responsible for management and development of all sales, recruiting, and marketing collateral. ? Ensure communication of applicable sales, recruiting, and marketing information to all levels of the organization ? Develop strategic sales, recruiting, and marketing goals in alignment with overall strategic direction of the FMO ? Develop tactical implementation plans to increase sales and recruiting productivity in alignment with strategic goals ? Define or develop training initiatives to support strategic and tactical goals ? Foster a culture that preserves the core values of AAAE and produces enthusiasm toward the company objectives ? Define performance expectations ? Develop and refine FMO agent and marketing programs supporting the FMO sales objectives ? Work with Questar Capital OSJ Branch Office Supervisor to educate registered representatives on industry/QCC standards regarding compliance and suitability. ? Communicate with key contacts and management of insurance carriers and Questar Capital to handle issues and problems that may arise. Also work closely with key contacts to facilitate and coordinate training visits, promotional programs, and develop strategies for business plan. Qualifications: ? 6 yrs minimum of related experience 10+ years of related experience preferred ? Previous sales, recruiting, training, sales management and marketing experience required ? Financial services industry experience preferred ? In-depth understanding and the ability to apply company culture, goals, philosophy and values into daily activities ? Ability to build and maintain relationships and mentor others ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills ? Excellent presentation skills ? Demonstrated leadership ability to guide, influence, develop and motivate others ? Strong listening skills ? Excellent follow up skills Education: ? Life/Health insurance license ? 4 year degree in a related field preferred ? FINRA registration required or obtainable within 120 days Why AAAE?
