Prepare annual reports (and quarterly NAIC reports if applicable) and premium tax returns for review by A.E.s/SAMs including the preparation checklist.  Reports should be submitted for review adequately in advance of filing deadlines to allow ample time for review and changes. Compile documents for independent audit; prepare responses to auditors’ PBC requests. Compile documents for regulatory examinations as much in advance as possible in order to allow time to address open items.  The examination checklist should be completed and submitted to the AE/SAM. Work towards understanding each client’s business plan. Exhibit knowledge of Hawaii captive statutes and regulations. Work with A.E.s and SAMs to ensure coordination of duties among account team. Prepare board meeting material in coordination with guidance from A.E.’s and SAMs and participate in presentations whenever possible. MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:  3-5 years accounting experience.  Previous insurance industry experience a plus.
