This individual will further be accountable for operational excellence in the areas of brand, portfolio, and sales force reporting, targeting and performance, incentives and objectives, and the effective integration and application of promotional efforts across PSS, Customer Service Associates (CSAs) and Personal Account Specialists (PASs) channels, as well as overseeing analytic support for the Digital marketing COE. The individual will report to the Executive Director of Commercial Insight and sit on Commercial Insight Leadership Team (CILT). The Sr. Director Sales/Portfolio Support and Analytics will apply and combine leadership skills, strategic knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape (with particular depth in the area of personal promotion), advanced analytical expertise, and strong communication skills in order to advise senior leadership on the direction of AstraZeneca resources on the following topics: ·National and Sub-national Field Sales Analytics in Support of PSS's, CSA's, and PAS's ·Sales Force Optimization (across all personal promotional channels) ·Integration and coordination of Insight Support for Digital/Database Marketing ·Licensing and Business Development Support ·Targeting & Performance (T&P) ·Alignments ·Incentives & Objectives (I&O) ·Sales and Brand Performance Reporting at all levels ·Commercial Data Strategy - data management, reporting, and out-source partner relations Key Responsibilities of the Sales/Portfolio Support and Analytics Function Head include: -Understand and influence internal customers' analytical needs across multiple personal and non-personal promotional channels -Provide leadership for the analysis and reporting of sales force execution, vacancy, and headcount management data -Support Sales Leadership in the evaluation of PSS Assessment and Quality improvement efforts (including call match rates, field experiments, and other detail quality dimensions) -Provide support for externalization (licensing) analyses to build the AZ portfolio -Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on a wide range of resource allocation questions -Responsible for continued infusion of innovation into the FFAR, PAR, and Sales Force design processes -Work closely with SSLT, Growth, Cornerstone, and DFL Senior Leaders and Management teams, Brand Team Leadership, CILT Sr. Directors, and other Quantitative Commercial Insight staff to ensure effective execution of sales force and cross-channel strategies -Liaison with the Leaders of Targeting & Performance and Incentives & Objectives to ensure alignment between sales force strategy and execution -Provide guidance and coordination for a range of Brand, Sales, and Portfolio performance reports -Liaison with a range of Quantitative Decision Support staff Function Head to ensure success of key business processes (especially sales reporting through TSR) and collaboration on joint research initiatives Set objectives, coaches/mentors, assesses performance, and addresses skill development for direct reports.
