Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Director, Sales Target for the WHV Domestic Sales department.  This position must be located in Minneapolis, MN.  We are interested in experienced individuals with a proven track record employed by a major CPG company as a Sales Team Leader serving the Wal-Mart account.  We will provide relocation to the Minneapolis area for the selected candidate so the individual may work closely with our Target account and manage a talented staff of (3) three Key Account Managers. Responsibilities: Position develops long-range annual plans for Target. Manages relationship development and team interaction with Target. Conducts annual employee reviews in accordance with PPR guidelines. Facilitates training and development of Key Account Managers.Manages advertising budgets for Target, including dispersal of funds. Approves travel, T&E reports for direct reports.Conducts quarterly and annual strategic planning sessions and regular senior level review meetings. Handles account administrative approvals and reconciliation issues for advertising, sales reports, orders, T&E reports, special requests, and general business. Participates in Target team meetings, sales meetings, events, seminars, and conventions. Requirements: BA degree in Sales / Management / Marketing or equivalent work experience is required. MBA preferred. A minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in Sales preferred. CPG background (sku intensive), or video experience preferred. Experience in new item introduction, heavy promotional concentration, and baseline maximization preferred. Target sales experience preferred. PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint required. Balance Scorecard, SAS or Microstrategy systems experience strongly preferred. Must have good oral and written communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with every level up to senior management. Must be able to analyze spreadsheets. Must have strong follow-through skills. Must have strong quantitative skills (accounting and statistics). Must have the ability to pay close attention to details. Must have the ability to organize. Must have the ability to work effectively under time constraints.
