Job Description: Essential Job Functions Will be expected to define and manage the NYC Alternate Channel (Channel Partner) programs in conjunction with similar national efforts. Identify, prospect, and develop NYC Channel Partner relationships. Work with NYC Channel Partners to set revenue objectives and develop business plans to achieve sales targets. Interface with the national group for regional representation and coordination on National Alternate Channels. Implement NYC Alternate Channel marketing strategy to meet objectives and increase market share and profitability of products and services. Develop and manage Channel Partner contracts, promotions, programs, and account activities. Forecast, formulate and manage market development budgets. Analyze sales reports and market trends, and identify channels and account targets. Act as liaison between executive management and sales organization to ensure corporate marketing plans and sales activities coincide. Track effectiveness of Channel marketing programs and recommend pricing, promotions and programs to meet sell through and return on investment goals. Prepare and present ongoing reports to executive management. Responsible for achieving a monthly team revenue quota in data, phone and video sales. Work in conjunction with other business services support groups, including sales support and marketing personnel. Oversee team personnel activities concerning hiring, training/development and sales performance evaluation and attend all sales meetings and training. Job Requirements/Qualifications Must have a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent training, education and experience. Five to eight years’ related experience managing indirect sales channels selling data, voice and video in the commercial telecommunications market. Demonstrated history of developing and managing successful channel strategies and programs. Proven track record of success in managing a quota based sales team. Must be an effective communicator than can direct and motivate a sales organization to successful goal attainment. Extensive knowledge of data networking, telecommunications, cable, managed security, and remote access products and services. Familiarity with customer premise equipment (CPE), routers, servers, IP security and VPN software. Knowledge of computers, computer networking, the Internet and networks. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required, including strong presentation skills. Strong analytical and negotiation skills required.
