Their company vision is to produce innovative, minimally invasive products to assist practitioners and improve the lives of patients. They have worldwide distribution in 86 countries, via direct representatives and distributors. Our client is seeking a qualified candidate to be responsible for managing the regional sales activity for designated territories with a primary function of supporting the assigned goals and objective for all products within the Spine business unit. Responsibilities include: executing strategies and plans of action for achievement of sales goals for each distributor by product segment and total sales as well as ensuring maintenance of base business and increased market share throughout the region; analyzing statistics, market trends, customer needs, volume potentials, price schedules, discounts, sales campaigns, and goals and objectives of each distributor and communicating performance feedback; collaborating on action plans and following up regularly to ensure achievements of goals and objectives are met; traveling regularly with distributors’ sales representatives calling on current and prospective customers to evaluate skills and competencies and providing focused feedback and recommendations to distributors to ensure achievement of sales goals; representing business units at zone trade association meetings to promote products; carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Successful candidates MUST have these minimum capabilities to be considered for this position: Bachelors Degree in related business field; management success as measured by 8-10 years of career progression and job stability in a related medical management capacity; must have multiple industry experience in orthopaedic, sports medicine, and / or spine; excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience with presentation skills to individuals and large groups; must be effective in persuading, influencing, and advising management on policy, procedure, and strategic issues; must be able to overnight travel up to 60%.
