Description: Essential Job Functions
Will be expected to execute key national carrier customer deployments within the region as well as strategic planning and business development for cell tower backhaul, carrier hotel / data center applications, last mile access for on-net / near net services and acquiring regional carrier customers. Manage budgets and forecasts for wholesale services. Collaborate with corporate commercial services to create a regional, national and wholesale operating model for customer support. Develop a MAN proposal and business plan for wireless, last mile building access, and carrier hotels within a region and implement an end to end process for carrier order fulfillment. Formulate regional sales plan for wireless, last mile access and carrier hotel opportunities. Compile key division data for regional / national business case approvals.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Must have Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and 5-7 experience selling and managing large regional or wholesale customers, or equivalent combination of education and experience. As well as a proven track record managing P&L in a wholesale division including sales, outside plant, systems engineering and real estate leasing. Knowledge of wavelength, OCN, DS3, DS1, native Ethernet, storage area network, and carrier hotel services. Must be an assertive self starter with excellent oral, written, mathematical, and problem solving skills. Travel approximately 35% to 40%.
